Why Liquid?
Liquid herbal extracts work quickly, especially if taken sublingually (under the tongue) where they enter the blood stream immediately. Tablets, on the other hand, have to first be digested before they can be absorbed and this takes time and energy. Tablets also contain many fillers and binding agents, some of which cannot be digested and these can place further stress on sensitive digestive systems. Liquid preparations also allow for greater dosage flexibility so that you can readily tailor an effective dose of the herbal extract. |
